Cooling Power from Finpower

January 30, 2018

undefinedWhat are you hoping to achieve in 2018?

We aim to get our brand, Finpower established in the local as well as international market. We have been operating in the air-conditioning equipment market for the past 15 years. But now with our accumulated know-how and technical expertise, we have started manufacturing our own air conditioning units, which follow all international standards. We are looking for more opportunities with major reputed clients in the UAE and customers from overseas to start the business relationship.

How is business going right now?

Excellent, though we are moving through tough payment terms from customers. Liquidity is low but demand is stable. Delayed projects, more competition, etc are the major factors affecting the market. Scarcity of raw materials and less importance on local manufactured products are the other main challenges. We should do more to promote locally manufactured products that follow international quality and standards.

What is your strategy going forward?

We aim to grab new markets and increase our share of the HVAC product segment. We want to support our customers with the best compact air conditioning equipment and help them with prompt service. We want to provide them with the most suitable products to achieve a faster ROI.

You recently participated at The Big 5 in Dubai? How did it go?

This is the 7th time we participated. Initially we participated as Maxell Group but for the past three years we have been promoting our air conditioning manufacturing wing of Maxell Group – Finpower. The show has been extremely successful and useful for interaction with our existing client base and new overseas customers.

Did you launch any new products this year?

We launched the VRF air conditioning range with energy saving technologies for the first time in our product portfolio this year.

What other products did you showcase?

Air handling units, fan coil units with AC and EC motors, VRF, cassette type fan coil units, floor standing fan coil units, ecology units, condensing units, package units, duct heater and variable air volume.
