Role: 

The essential skills required for this position are as follows:

1. The candidate should have a minimum of five to eight years experience in handling F&B projects - preferably restaurants and cafe.

2. Very strong technical, execution and commercial abilities.

3. Proven track record as a successful leader in project management in fit-out contracting business.

4. Good knowledge of GCC market (i.e. clients, subcontractors & suppliers).

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational environment.

 

Functions

Overall management of the client servicing and operations of the company involving following functions:

Pre contract:

1.Supervising the project tendering function

Post contract:

1. Specifying project objectives and plans including delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling, setting performance requirements, and selecting of project sub-contractors.

2. Maximising resource efficiency (labour, materials and equipment).

3. Implementing various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting and construction in the entire process.

4. Maintaining accurate records as construction progress throughout the projects.

5. Responsible for overview of the construction sites, and management of vendors and trades. In addition, keep good communication between the clients at all times.

 

Responsibilities

Estimating Management, Project Management Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, Safety Management, which includes specific activities like defining the responsibilities and management structure of the project management team, organizing and leading by implementing project controls, defining roles and responsibilities and developing communication protocols, and identifying elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
