Dubai-based Habtoor Group has appointed a new managing director for its hospitality and leisure projects in the UAE.
Kamal Naamani will be overseeing he operations of the company’s growing portfolio of new developments, including the much-anticipated Al Habtoor City.
His extended role includes responsibility of all owned and managed Habtoor Hotels in the UAE, as well as Habtoor Catering and Habtoor Laundry Operations.
Naamani said: “It gives me great pleasure to be part of this dynamic and progressive group. I look forward to further contributing to its amazing success story.
“These are exciting times at the Al Habtoor Group. We recently opened our first hotel within Al Habtoor City – The St. Regis Dubai. I am looking forward to seeing all the hotels within Al Habtoor City open in the coming months.”
He added: “In addition to Al Habtoor City, work is underway on the Metropolitan Hotel Dubai, a four-star property, due for completion later this year as well as the St. Regis Dubai Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, an equestrian haven in Dubailand.”
In his past roles, Naamani was managing director, Asia Pacific at Pragma Group, based in Shanghai, China and has over 21 years of luxury hotel experience in senior levels with Fairmont Raffles Hotels and Resorts in many key destinations around the world.
