North Africa’s construction sector to come under the spotlight

undefinedFollowing success at its first edition in 2017, dates for the next edition of The Big 5 Construct North Africa has been announced.

The event will be held from 10-12 April 2018 at the Parc des Expositions de L’Office des Changes in Casablanca, organisers dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa have announced.

“The Big 5 Construct North Africa will effectively contribute to the development of the Moroccan economy, infusing into the local construction sector the best and most advanced technological solutions from around the globe,” says event director, Muhammed Kazi.

More international suppliers are expected during the second edition,which expects to to draw over 4,000 industry professionals.

“Architects, contractors, developers, engineers and interior designers will be able to source reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable products from around the world for their projects,” adds Kazi.

“We expect distributors to greatly benefit from the event, where they will be able to establish profitable business relations with renowned manufacturers.”

Dubai Exports’ Muhamed Almheiri, who participated at the event in 2017, confirms that The Big 5 Construct North Africa is an excellent opportunity for building mutually beneficial business relations.

“We received leads amounting to around MAD 130mn and actual deals of approximately MAD 9mn following the exhibition in Casablanca.”

 This year, The Big 5 Construct North Africa 2018 will feature five events under one roof - Building Interiors, Building Materials & Tools, MEP Services, Concrete & PMV, and Windows, Doors & Facades.  

The event will also host complimentary educational.

Organised by dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa, The Big 5 Construct North Africa 2017 welcomed 3,500 participants from 47 countries.
