UAE approves $111.6 million infrastructure projects

undefinedThe projects will be implemented under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, a news statement has announced.

In a meeting chaired by Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, the committee approved Phase 1 of an infrastructure project which build a road between Wadi Al-Qor and another linking the Al-Hubab roundabout and Nizwa Road for $78.95 million.

The committee also approved Phase 1 of a project to renovate the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Ajman for $8.17 million.

In addition, the committee set-up a project for the construction of a sewage network in Umm Al Quwain worth $5.7 million, another for establishing an internal road network, as well as a project for building 168 housing units for citizens in Kalba for $4.08 million.

A project for the construction of internal roads in Ajman worth around $3 million was also put into practice.

Another project, worth $3.8 million, which will upgrade the Al Ajili road in Ras Al Khaimah, was set-up by the committee, along with another housing project for citizens in Al Ain for $7.9 million.
