SirajPower has signed a deal with retail giant Landmark Group to install a 2.1MW rooftop solar power plant.
Under the partnership, the company will carry out permitting, design, installation, commission and operation of a solar system at a warehouse in Dubai South.
The plant will help the company generate over 3.4 million KWH of clean energy annually, slashing the group’s utility bills and carbon footprint.
David Auriau, director at SirajPower said: “We are encouraged to see more and more UAE businesses recognising the importance and need to adopt renewable sources of energy, and especially solar power as it remains highest value in the region due to the high solar radiation.
“SirajPower’s unique solar leasing model offer clients significant savings without the risk of investments and operations of solar plants. Our partnership with Landmark Group represents another key milestone for us as we have been selected as the partner of choice following a very competitive selection process.”
SirajPower has similar agreements in place with other UAE businesses such as RSA Global and Al Abbar Aluminium Energy.
