CSCEC ME lands $350mn contract with Emaar

undefinedChina State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC) has clinched a contract with Emaar Development worth AED 1.29bn ($351mn) to build a trio of towers in Dubai, the contractor has confirmed.

This is CSCEC's second big contract win in a week after it was appointed to build a second tower at DAMAC's AYKON City.

Downtown Views II is located on the DIFC side of Financial Centre Road opposite the Dubai Mall.

The project consists of three high-rise residential buildings with 1,509 serviced apartments.

Tower 1 will be 258 metres high and have 67 floors above ground while Tower 2 will have 62 floors and Tower 3 will have 55 floors.

Piling and excavation work was completed during the second quarter of the year.

Construction of the development is scheduled to complete by the end of 2020, according to Emaar’s website.
