Achieving Up To 21% Energy Savings Through
Highly Efficient Systems



In times of rising energy costs, new systems put more and more emphasis on the best possible efficiency. Here, Franklin Electric has set a new benchmark with its High Efficiency Systems (HES). Compared to standard asynchronous motors, energy savings of more than 20 percent have been achieved in more than 2,000 systems installed worldwide.

The company’s well-renowned range of 6” and 8” High Efficiency Borehole Systems covered shaft power requirements from 4 150 kW; and the Big 5 attendee is now proud to complement the range with its classical 4” power ratings from 0.37-7.5 kW. All are available in the proven and extremely robust motor design. For customer convenience, 6” power ratings from 4-45 kW can now also be ordered as encapsulated permanent magnet motors, forming Franklin’s new Franklin Electric MagForce™ product family.

Energy savings are achieved through a combination of perfectly matched components and their control functions – permanent magnet motor, pump, variable frequency drive and optional output filter.
Additionally and most importantly, it is the submersible motor’s permanent magnet equipped rotor that eliminates rotor losses, significantly reducing motor current and heat rises as a result.

Excellent partial-load efficiency of permanent magnet motors allows the entire power range to be covered with only a few different motor sizes, thus offering important stock-keeping advantages.

The Franklin Electric-designed, application specific inverter software and (for 4” systems) mobile app guarantee ensures simple and fast commissioning of borehole systems. Tailored startup wizards and thought-through pre-sets will in most cases avoid the need for having qualified VFD technicians at the installation site.

And last but not least, the company’s High Efficiency Borehole Systems can be directly fed by solar energy (PV panels), making an even greater contribution to the environment and reducing lifecycle costs of your installation. Additionally, our products are also certified as locally made (Buatan Malaysia) by KPDNKK and HALAL by JAKIM. Recently, our products have been certified as Nanoverified products by Nano Verify. This certification confirms that our products do not only incorporate the elements of biotechnology, but also nanotechnology.
